“I find northern animals so appealing—especially arctic hares. They are so white it is a fun challenge to create texture in the illustration. I loved layering the pattern to show a family of hares peering out at us,” says our designer and founder, Anna Ballard. She created this design with a hand-drawn illustration using pen and ink, and photography.
